It is what I needed at a price that was pretty good. I like that the plug is removable to feed the power cord through a small hole and place the plug outside the safe. The mounting brackets that come with it mount perfectly inside the safe.

the 18" rod does a good job at reducing humidity . I have a liberty gauge both inside and out. It does the job !!

Easy installation and no maintenance

I bought this with the Liberty's Centurion 12, along with the electrical outlet kit for the safe. installation was simple, easy to follow instructions. I bought this for ease of use and no worries. It works as advertised, I have a simple wireless humidity/temp thermometer and for over a year now it has done just fine. All items are kept at an adequate temperature and humidity. The rod does get slightly warm to touch, but nothing to be concerned. I keep steel, wood, brass, and electronics in the safe, and everything is good as new.

Nice little unit. Seems about average by the looks of it. I liked the fact that the plug was disassembled in the package. That would have allowed me to drill a much smaller hole for the wiring if I hadn't already installed the power outlet kit. I have only had this unit in service for a couple of days, so I cannot comment on the longevity.
